"S.M.A.R.T, the ‘Show Me a Road Tobago’ is an integrated ICT customer platform designed to facilitate ease of reporting road-related issues by road users in Tobago; allowing for response and action to be systematic and streamlined. The integration comprises a web interface, mobile app and a 24/7 customer service line (66SMART or 667 6278), all complemented by a dedicated response team. S.M.A.R.T was conceptualised by the Tobago House of Assembly and designed by the Tobago Information Technology Limited (TITL).
The SMART system features a geolocation portal that allows users to submit virtual queries and images of depressed roads and ‘potholes’, and other general infrastructural issues. It is backed by a ticketing system, which will see progress report being delivered to customers throughout the life of queries.”
